This was a quickly arranged, last minute Test Day. However it was an ideal opportunity to test a few critical components, although the work went right up to the wire as we were under the impression there would be no opportunity to test at Croft this year. The new custom made driveshafts from Drivelink performed well although there was a fair bit of grease being blown through the seals - perhaps have to think about releasing the pressure for the next run out. The most critical challenge involved the fuel pump - having had serious starvation problems last season we replaced the Walbro 255 with an Audi S3 set up. Thankfully this worked perfectively and the car ran faultlessly for a total of 3 hours throughout the day. Times were competitive despite very strong winds blowing head on all the way through Jim Clark and Barcroft.

Overall, a very successful day and good to get back in the car after the winter break. Hoping to get out again for a track day at Croft on May 4th just to get a few more miles in before the season opener on the 16th.
