Located in the village of Kirkby Mallory, just off the A47 between Leicester (8 Miles) and Hinckley.
Circuit length - 1.35 miles
A very frustrating weekend all round. Qualifying was a fairly torrid affair with sporadic rain showers meaning very variable grip depending on where you were on the circuit. On a positive note the new solid flywheel and clutch arrangement seemed to be working well with no sign of the clutch slip of the previous outing.
However, this new found strength in the clutch certainly got the power down very well off the start, so well in fact that it totally destroyed the inner nearside CV joint and the race was over after 20 yards! As I say, hugely frustrating - Leicestershire is a long way to go for a race lasting about 10 seconds.
